Re•gret: (r -gr t ) verb.; What might have been.

Standard

Let me tell you something I don’t like to admit to myself:

I have regrets. Lots of them. More than I wish I did.

After spending a weekend with my estranged father, the feeling of regret has taken hold of my mind and derailed me from my usual, productive self. The whole experience has stirred up memories from the past. I’d like to say it was a rainy, cold night, and as I warmed up by the fireplace I decided to make a list of regrets I planned to undo.

Not entirely. It’s just a regular Thursday. But I’d like to share with you my top five fool-proof list of avoiding regrets – and although I say fool-proof… go ahead, be a fool sometimes. It may not be the new year, but that doesn’t mean I can’t make a resolution.
